F1 | Alonso retired with a brake problem caused by a sandwich

It sounds absurd, but it is the plain and simple truth. Fernando Alonso made a fantastic debut after 2 years of absence from Formula 1, a sign that he still has the makings of a champion, he was able to strip his teammate despite the fact that the Spaniard had only been on his Alpine for a few days unlike the French.

Unfortunately, however, Fernando had to retire due to a brake problem, unexpectedly we saw him return to the pits without the possibility of doing anything and now we understand the reason well: the number # 14 was forced to retire due to a malfunction of the braking system caused by a sandwich card getting stuck inside his car.

A real shame because although the international direction did not focus almost at all on the return of the world champion Alonso was really doing well and for sure he could have finished the race in an excellent way.
