It is no mystery that Scuderia Ferrari is a renowned name all over the world, but it is shocking to think that in Formula 1 there is a special “Ferrari Bonus”. In fact, at the end of the season disputed the Scuderie receive a monetary compensation based on the placement obtained during the disputed season; for Ferrari, however, there is an extra remuneration that he can enjoy as it is the only Scuderia to have taken part in all editions of the F1 world championship since its inception.
The bonus in question is called the “Ferrari Bonus” and the amount varies according to how much the total amount paid to all the other teams abounds, essentially the more millions of dollars the other teams earn, the more the Ferrari Bonus increases proportionally. To be even more precise, just think that if the total sum of millions of dollars paid to the other Scuderie is below one billion dollars, the “Ferrari Bonus” stands at 5%, rising to 6% between 1 and 1.05 billion, then to 8% between 1.05 and 1.1 billion, to reach 10% in the event that 1.1 billion is exceeded.
