F1 | Norris: “Hamilton wasn’t perfect”

Lando Norris ran a nearly perfect qualifying and missed the pole position by less than 1 tenth of a second, even in the race the young boy made it clear what he is made of by managing to duel with Mercedes and Red Bull. Lewis Hamilton himself has spent fine words towards Lando calling him “such a great driver“, words well appreciated by the young man who thus replied:

“It was the first time I was able to truly duel with Mercedes and Red Bulls without being particularly inferior. It was great for us to be able to be together with these two teams throughout the race. Obviously Hamilton’s words make me happy, but he wasn’t perfect at the wheel. He made several mistakes in Turn-1 and Turn-3. I certainly learned a lot both in the first stint against Hamilton and in the second against Bottas. Being so competitive at the start of the race was a great feeling for me and for the team ”.
