F1 | SPECIAL CHRISTMAS! Exclusive interview with Tsunoda, here’s who he admires! PART 2

As already yesterday, in the Christmas special, we told you, the young boy Yuki Tsunoda, talent of the Red Bull driver academy outbreak, has recently been confirmed in Formula 1 next season alongside Pierre Gasly, thus taking over from Kvyat. The Japanese has shown himself capable of a good season in Formula 2 also conquering some successes and we at f1motogp.com had the opportunity to interview him exclusively!

NOTE: The interview was conducted towards the end of November, any inconsistencies in the results cited are due to this.

Q: “Who is the driver on the Formula 1 grid that you admire most currently?”

YT: “Oh well, difficult question actually, it’s not that he has a favorite driver but I would probably say Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, well Lewis is really very fast and he is very constant, always fast, always strong, he always gets excellent results too in very difficult situations (see the victory at Silverstone with a flat tire or the victory in Turkey in the pouring rain ed) especially it was incredible when he won the seventh world title, I think it was in Turkey yes, for me it was just incredible ( what he did ed) and really impressive. As for Max he is really fast, it is true in Turkey he did not have a great weekend, but he is also very fast, especially in qualifying, he practically never makes mistakes and is always in the top 3, which is impressive to me. I admire both of them very much. “

Q: “What impact did the lack of fans have on your Formula 2 season?”

YT: “Honestly I didn’t feel that much difference, for sure when there are a lot of fans on the track it’s always great and the fans always make the races very exciting, but you know when I get into the car I don’t look at the fans much. However, I strongly hope that the situation improve as soon as possible because I would like to give the fans some exciting races to watch live not only beyond the television screen! “
