F1 | Why the deterioration in Q3? Bottas explains it to us

During Q2 the Ferraristi fans must have gone into raptures, after having conquered the fourth position last week in Bahrain Charles Leclerc managed to finish second at the end of the second qualifying session making us think of the improbable, unfortunately, however, we expected a further improvement during Q3 which did not arrive, despite the tire compound used was the red (the softest), while the record time recorded in Q2 by number # 16 was done with yellow compound.

Valtteri Bottas, who missed the pole position by a few tens of thousandths of a second, explains such a strange performance of the tires:

“I think that, as Max said, it is extremely difficult to get the perfect lap (precisely because there are many corners and it’s easy to make mistakes ed) even if obviously that is the goal, so obviously yes, we could have done a better job, but I think that the management (of the tires and of the single-seater ed) was becoming more and more difficult as we went forward. The Finn said at a press conference.
